Tempo Blazes To Ryanair
With a form that many would envy, Blazing Tempo is having the time of her life and her owner Rich Ricci has his fingers crossed that she can continue her climb up the ladder when she takes her chance at Cheltenham.
With ten chase starts under her belt, she has managed a staggering five firsts, two seconds and a third making the mare a force to be reckoned with. Winner of the Galway Plate in July, Ruby Walsh brought Blazing Tempo (9-4) into the race just before the turn for home and deny Noble Prince by three-quarters of a length.
He told At The Races “She was up against it but I don’t think Paul’s (Nolan) horse (Noble Prince) run up to his level, but it was a great performance from her.
“She’ll go to Cheltenham. I think the ground will suit her.”
Despite Walsh’s enthusiasm, trainer Willie Mullins has a more reserved approach when talking about her chances. “She’ll get an entry for the Ryanair Chase but I’m not sure if she’s good enough”
Blazing Tempo is a good each-way bet at around 14/1 but with Noble Prince, Rubi Light and Somersby all lining up she could have her work cut out for her on the day!

Will the odds go down any further, considering that they were above 30. Might get a quick flutter in now, in case they drop any more
