Tickets & Hotels

If you’re looking for tickets to the 2010 Cheltenham Festival then the first place you should try is the official Cheltenham website (click here) as of the 15th Jan 2010 plenty of tickets are still available. You can turn up on the day and buy tickets, but this always risky, especially for the ever popular friday racing.

Ticket prices range from £20 in the ‘Bet Mates’ enclosure, £40 for Tattersalls and Seated Grand Stand Tickets between £45-£65. The racecourse offers a variety of hospitality and restaurant packages, these normally sell out very quick so book early to avoid disappointment. You can contact the Cheltenham Racecourse box office on 0844 579 3003. If you buy a full priced Tattersalls ticket online for St Patrick’s Day, 17th March at The Festival and if no Irish trained horses win on that day, Cheltenham racecourse will refund your money! Tickets are £40, please book using the offer code PAT. (a day at the festival without an Irish winner ~ unthinkable!)

You can also buy tickets and hospitality from various other websites, Viagogo is a popular, reputable ticket exchange website that you can use if tickets get hard to find. Hospitality via third parties is a different matter, I’ve heard horror stories of companies taking large deposits for corporate hospitality and then disappearing with the money. So be very wary about buying from anywhere else other than the Cheltenham racecourse website.

Hotels & Accommodation

If you plan to make a day and night out of the festival then accommodation is going to be needed. laterooms is one of the easiest website to find hotels on, remember rooms fill up quickly on the run up to the festival so book early. TripAdvisor is also a great site for checking out hotels and finding reviews by past hotel guests. You can also use the Visit Cheltenham tourist website to find information on local guesthouses, hotels and B&Bs.
