Like many horses this year, Bobs Worth has been given multiple entries into the 2012 Cheltenham Festival. Already entered for the RSA Chase, he has now also been given the green light for the World Hurdle 2012 and is already as short as 12-1 with bookmakers.

The Nicky Henderson-trained seven-year-old figures prominently in the betting for the RSA Chase after winning one of his two starts over fences this season, but the presence of his name in the 34 entries for World Hurdle means that just four horses are quoted shorter than him for the 3m race.

Speaking at Ludlow on Thursday, Henderson said: “It’s completely an insurance policy. I’m thinking about the Reynoldstown for him, just say he went and something went wrong, he had a dreadful fall, you’ve got to cover.”

With more than six weeks until the 2012 Festival kicks off, Big Bucks is already 8/13 odds on to take his fourth successive title but should anything other than the pre-determined plan occur, then Henderson also has second-favourite Oscar Whisky up his sleeve.

Already as short as 5/1, Oscar Whisky won’t give punters much each-way value but look out for odds without Big Bucks and you could be on to a real winner!
